Getting There on Snow Days

⚠️ Chain Requirements

When it snows, Caltrans may require chains or snow tires on Hwy 18 and Hwy 38. R-1 means chains required (or AWD/4WD with snow tires). R-2 means chains required on ALL vehicles. Check road conditions before heading up.
